Location of Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park  is found in western part of Uganda laying between Lakes George and Albert with the Kazinga Channel crossing through its 700 square mile land area.

Covering an area of 1,978 square kilometers, the park spans the districts of Kasese, Kamwenge, Rubirizi and Rukungiri. From Kampala – the capital of Uganda, Queen Elizabeth National Park is approximately 250 miles (400 kilometers) by road south west. Kasese City is the nearest town to the park lieing northeast of the park while the town of Rubirizi is to the southeast.
