5 Days Rwanda Gorillas and Lake Kivu

Great Scenery.

This is a luxury Rwanda safari. Go gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park plus a tour to Lake Kivu south of Rwanda. Tour the islands and the beautiful scenery before you return to Kigali.

DAY 1: Pick  up and transger to volacnoes national park .

you will be picked from your hotel and  head for akigali city tour ,  on the city tour,  you will visit the Rwanda genocide memorial, the local crafts market and later  you will exit kigali and transfer to Volcanoes National park . The drive to  volcanoes national park can take anything from 2:00 – 2:30 hours. upon arrival ,  you will check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National park.

In the morning After breakfast,  you will head the park headquarters for briefing on gorilla trekking , later you will embark on gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National park . After breakfast, you will take up the journey to Volcanoes National Park for your Gorilla trekking adventure. This may last up to 2-6 hours upon meeting the gorillas, you will interact with them  by taking photos as well as getting to know the better. later  exit the park and head back ot the lodge for lunch.  later if you have time you can visit the ibyiwacu cultral center to experinece the Rwanda cullture.  Dinner and ovenight at the lodge.

DAY 3: Golden Monkey tracking

You will track the endangered Golden Monkeys in Volcanoes National Park. Here groups range from 15 individuals to 40. Then return for lunch at the lodge and then leave for Kibuye.

DAY 4: Lake Kivu

After breakfast, you will have a morning boat ride on the lake. You will have a chance to see bird species and different water animals on the lakeshore.

Overnight: Kivu Sun Hotel (FB)

DAY 5: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a flight back home.
