5 Days Tour to Queen Elizabeth and Semuliki National Park.

Day 1: Transfer to Semuliki National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up early in the morning and head to Semliki national park, situated in the basin of the western Rift valley, the journey that will take 4-6 hours. You will check-in at Semliki safari Lodge, and then go for spot lit night drive, the only park known for night drives, because of its nocturnal animals. Like the white-tailed mongoose and slender mongoose, standard and pennant winged nightjars, cats, hyenas, leopards and many more. The park is one of the parks with many habitats ranging from Riparian forests, and rain forests to short and high grass savannahs. The park generally offers lots of surprises because you never know what you might find. After an early breakfast, go down to the beautiful gallery rain-forest to track wild chimpanzees. These are usually tracked at dawn or dusk due to the fact that they tend to disappear in the middle of the day. There are also a number of bird species which are found in this picturesque forest. Retire from the chimp trek and then in the afternoon you may relax at the pool or go for a game drive as you watch the sun dip. Overnight and dinner at Semliki safari Lodge.

Day 3: Game drive and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, you will have a game drive en route as you leave Semliki National a park. The journey to Hot Springs will take you through the attractive green countryside eventually ascending the Western Rift Valley to Fort Portal. You will then continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will reach in the late afternoon and check-in at Mweya safari lodge. You will go for a nature walk around the Mweya Peninsula, where you spot games like the Uganda Kob, bush pigs, bush-bucks, colobus monkeys and many more. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Wild game viewing and chimpanzee tracking

After breakfast, you will go for a forest walk in the Kyambura gorge in a trek for chimpanzees and other primates. Alternatively, you may go for a walk in the Maramagambo forest to track primates. You will retire from the walk for lunch at the lodge and then go for a launch cruise in the afternoon. This boat trip will reward you with games like hippos buffaloes and many water birds. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 5. Game drive and Travel Back To Kampala

In the morning before dawn, you will go for a game drive in the Kasenyi track of the park to catch up with the early risers and predators returning to their hideouts. Retire from the game drive for late breakfast to pack lunch and drive back to Kampala where you will reach in the evening.
