On arrival in Entebbe, you'll be warmly welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel in either Entebbe or Kampala for check-in. On the way, you'll get a first impression of everyday life in Uganda.
Once settled in, we're happy to show you around Kampala to give you a feel for the country, its people, culture, and the city’s wide variety of cuisines.

After an early breakfast, transfer from Murchison Falls to Kibale via the scenic Lake Albert Escarpment. Stop for lunch in Hoima and continue past Lakes Nkusi and Kyoga. As you arrive in Fort Portal, enjoy views of the Rwenzori Mountains and tea plantations. Reach your lodge in the early evening for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, head to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre by 8:00 AM for a briefing on chimpanzee tracking. These primates share 98 Percent of their DNA with humans, making this encounter particularly fascinating. During the trek, you may also see L’Hoest’s monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus, grey-cheeked mangabeys, pottos, bush babies, and birds like the green-breasted pitta, crowned eagle, and black bee-eater.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for more primate and bird sightings, including blue monkeys, baboons, bush pigs, and the great blue turaco.

After breakfast, head south to the Ishasha Sector for a chance to see tree-climbing lions. Along the way, you might also encounter elephants, buffaloes, and leopards.
Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, stopping for lunch en route. Upon arrival, take a guided nature walk through the forest before settling in for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a gorilla tracking briefing. In groups of eight, you'll be assigned a gorilla family and begin the trek, which may take 2 to 6 hours. Once you encounter the gorillas, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. Afterward, return to headquarters for your tracking certificate, then visit the Batwa community for a cultural experience. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart Bwindi and cross into Rwanda. Drive to Goma, on the shores of Lake Kivu, the gateway to Virunga National Park. Overnight in Goma.

Early morning, transfer to Kibati Ranger Post. Begin the challenging yet rewarding 5–6-hour hike to the summit of Mount Nyiragongo. At the top, marvel at the fiery lava lake, one of the world’s most dramatic natural spectacles.
Overnight in simple huts at the crater rim, overlooking the glowing magma.

After breakfast at the summit, descend to the base and return to Goma. Overnight stay in Goma before continuing to Lake Mburo.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest savannah park (371 km²). Stop in Mbarara for lunch, then proceed to the park for a guided nature walk. Later, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Begin the day with a morning game drive through the park, searching for impalas, kobs, antelopes, and a wide range of birdlife.
After lunch at the lodge, set out on a unique afternoon adventure — either a horseback safari that allows you to approach wildlife quietly and closely, or a cycling safari along scenic trails. Both experiences provide a refreshing and eco-friendly way to explore Lake Mburo’s landscapes and wildlife.

Along the way, you’ll stop at the Equator for photos and a fun water experiment that demonstrates the Coriolis effect — showing how water drains in opposite directions in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres due to Earth's rotation.
From there, we will either take you to the airport for your departure or to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe for check-in and a relaxed end to your journey. We’ll gladly arrange your airport transfer on your departure day.
