A Guide through the Journey

On arrival in Entebbe, you'll be warmly welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel in either Entebbe or Kampala for check-in. On the way, you'll get a first impression of everyday life in Uganda.

Once settled in, we're happy to show you around Kampala to give you a feel for the country, its people, culture, and the city’s wide variety of cuisines.

After breakfast at your hotel — or upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport — you’ll be warmly welcomed by your personal tour guide.

After a short safari briefing, you’ll embark on a 4- to 5-hour scenic drive through Uganda’s beautiful countryside. You’ll stop in Fort Portal for lunch. You’ll visit the Palace of the King of Toro and learn about the Toro Kingdom, its traditions, and its youthful monarch.

Later, continue to Kibale National Park, arriving in the evening for check-in, dinner, and a relaxing overnight stay at your lodge.

After an early breakfast, head to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for a briefing on chimpanzee tracking. These primates share 98 Percent of their DNA with humans, making this encounter particularly fascinating. During the trek, you may also see L’Hoest’s monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus, grey-cheeked mangabeys, pottos, bush babies, and birds like the green-breasted pitta, crowned eagle, and black bee-eater.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for more primate and bird sightings, including blue monkeys, baboons, bush pigs, and the great blue turaco.

After breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.

After lunch take a guided nature walk through the forest before settling in for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. In groups of eight, you'll be assigned a gorilla family and begin the trek, which may take 2 to 6 hours. Once you encounter the gorillas, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat.

Afterward, return to headquarters for your trekking certificate, then visit the Batwa community for a cultural experience. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, begin the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, with a stop at the Equator for photos and a fun demonstration of the Coriolis effect. Alternatively, take a scenic one-hour flight from Kihihi Airstrip to Entebbe. Overnight stay in Entebbe or Kampala.

After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Upon arrival, your guide will welcome you and transfer you to Arusha for hotel check-in.

If time allows, enjoy a guided coffee tour with tastings before dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a full-day game drive. This natural wonder shelters nearly 30,000 animals including black rhinos, lions, elephants, and wildebeest. Picnic lunch on the crater floor before returning to your lodge.

Have an early breakfast, then head to Serengeti National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless plains, with chances to spot elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, and more.

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti. Witness the breathtaking savannah, home to vast herds and apex predators. Morning and afternoon game drives with picnic lunch in the park. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Depending on your schedule, you may stop in Arusha for last-minute shopping or relaxation before your onward flight. Your safari ends with unforgettable memories of Uganda’s primates and Tanzania’s legendary savannahs.
