The park is home to a remarkable variety of wildlife, including 13 primate species. Key primates include chimpanzees, L’Hoest’s monkeys, blue monkeys, and the rare Angolan colobus monkeys, which can be seen in large groups. The park also hosts over 85 mammal species, including duikers, bushbucks, and servals. Birdwatchers will be thrilled with over 310 bird species, including 27 Albertine Rift endemics such as the Rwenzori Turaco, Red-collared Babbler, and the Grauer’s Swamp Warbler.
