Baker’s Lodge

Baker’s Lodge is a popular luxury option in Murchison Falls National Park, the lodge is named after English explorer Samuel Baker and provides luxury yet traditional African accommodation with direct river access.

Baker’s Lodge was opened in 2015, the rooms are generously proportioned, a charming combination of canvas and thatch built out from a communal dining room. Accommodation at Baker’s Lodge – the lodge offers 10 spacious Safari Suites which combines canvas, wood and thatch, each generously proportioned cottage has its own deck that overlooks the Nile. All rooms are close to the banks of the Nile and guests often see the lodge’s VIP hippo guests in the shallows.

Budongo Ecolodge

Budongo Ecolodge is situated further south alongside the main road that runs between Masindi and Paraa, this lodge does not have Nile frontage but provides great access to the forests of Budongo, home to a myriad of birdlife and over 600 chimpanzees.
